Overbey and SXSW (March 13-22, 2009)

Derek Overbey (Roost.com), one of my fave writers and tweet-peep has a fascinating project in progress you can check out at the above link. SXSW looks like it is going to be an awesome event. If you are clueless, let me hip you to the social media ballistics: Go here to get your South by South West Web 2.0 groove on.

I'm talking (1) Music and Media Conference, (2) Film Festival and Conference and (3) the Interactive Festival. Go check out the official website and enjoy the huge talent pool converging in one place.

Definitely an awesome event. :-)

I remember following it last year on Twitter. It does look like a blast and cutting edge. I will try to budget it for next year as I am committed to other ones. But, I would love to see Austin.

Missy, I would love to see Austin as well. I hope when I go crash at Melodious later this year we can spend one day there. :-)

A friend of mine is going to be there.  I have heard great things about this event.

Josef, it's pretty cool. I have a few Tweet-peeps presenting there. I'm hoping the best for them. They are a great group of ladies. This event ROCKS! :-)

SXSW is a big event in Austin. If you are a musician or a music fan, that's the place to be.
