I'm in shock. I can't believe I can't log in.
Google has always been that one constant since I started playing on the Internet. I always access Google, at least, I USED TO always access Google (LOL). I've been getting 502 Proxy Errors all morning that ask me to "try again in 30 seconds." Well, it's been an hour... WTF?
I'm on a time table here. I have to get my messages before I go out to drop the kids at school and freeze my a$$ off doing my turtle run. I have an expectation and feel strangely lost at the prospect of having to stop fooling around in the street to find a computer to see what's on the agenda for the day. I usually know what's cooking in advance (LOL). It's a lovely 24 degrees and we are having a particularly colorful sunrise, so off I go to amuse myself with the Nikon.
I've lots of runs I haven't posted yet, but just because I haven't been talking about them lately doesn't mean I'm not cooking them up and doing them. Yes, I actually save turtle runs for a "rainy day" (LOL).
I can't stand the thought of not being able to read my email... I feel incomplete, as if I'm missing something... How geek is that? Very. ;-)

I constantly check my email on my phone C. It is addicting. When it is down I freak too. No it does not make you a geek either because I refuse to be one!
LOL@ Paddy. I'm actually still sitting here hoping I can get all of my messages before I run out the door. I hate being somewhere, then leaving, only to find out I have to go back because I missed an inspection I could have done, but didn't. I had a client text me a last minute appraisal once. Talk about stand on your head to run and get keys to let people in (LOL). 48 hour notice would be nice, but it doesn't always happen. :-)
I heard from Twitter that Google was having some probs early this morning...
Ooooo. I forgot to log into Twitter! Wow. Talk about being distracted by my e-mail woes (LOL). Hi Michael! Thank you. :-)
Carolyn, I almost stopped reading when I got to the part about you going for a run in 24 degree weather...forget the fact that it's way before noon LOL Have fun. Maybe when you get back all will be well again in the land of google.
C,
Shame, Shame, Shame you should not be so angry this early in the morning. Now place that friendly smile back on your face, gently pick up the bat that is right next to you and commence to just beat the h311 out of the computer until it gives you what you are looking for.
Now doesn't that feel much better?
Haaaaaaa! Too funny! :-D
Morning, Don (ROTFLMAO)
Barb, I came back and told Mike to re-dress. It's mad cold out there (LOL).
Do you mean Gmail? http://www.techcrunch.com/2009/02/24/trouble-in-the-clouds-gmail-turns-into-gfail/
Shane, I love you. Yes!!!!!! This is driving me crazy! Now I know what's up. Thank you for the link. :-)
C...
I guess I'm paranoid, but I have my own mailservers. I trust no one, I need to have total control! Yes, I am a freak, I admit it, but at least if the mailservers go down I can do something about it!
Richard, I understand. I'm glad I wrote this post because a couple of people who do read me in the mornings caught on and called my office to get my cell phone number. I'm dealing with two show appointments right now because of this specific AR post. Don't you just love this place? ;-) I do... in spades! :-D
I would freak if I couldn't have access to my email. Absolutely FREAK. I also almost freaked when AR said they were down for maintenance a little while ago. I have AR scheduled in my outlook calendar. It threw me way off course for the day! Ha! Not really, there is always 2am.
Yeah, Active Rain has been sick the last few days with the PROXY Runs! I can't do SH** here! So annoying!
C,
Sounds like a typcial day in the life of a blogger...
Ann Hayden in cloudy Wildwood, Missouri
Dee, I know what you mean about the 2 AM blog posts (LMAO). :-)
Greg, I suffer through Active Rain withdrawal when that happens. :-D
Ann, come to think of it, it is isn't it? (LOL)
You should look at these moments as time outs. Take a walk and just enjoy. Email will be back before you know it.
Josef, very true. I took a time out picking up Noah from school and played in the park. It was coooooold and that kid loved every minut of it. We were the only ones there. Didn't have to wait for anything (LOL).
Well glad you got it working. I just guessed when I read your post. Heh!
They fixed it. Yay! :-)
Funny how tied we get to these electronic family members.
Kathleen, I absolutely love my bay-bays. :-)
