The Little Minions got to play in the snow today. I also took them on two tours of homes because I am working on two Comparative Market Analysis; one for Flushing and the other for Jamaica, NY.
We had a blast building snowmen and having snowball fights. Stephen got to pretend-drive his fave wooden car and Noah demolished his snowman creation with some of the kids in the backyard of our apartment building.
We stopped by our new construction to make sure the pipes were okay because at one point the temperature fell down to 32 degrees. I have to hold an RSVP Open House over there on Sunday, December 21, 2008 from 11:30 - 12:30. I'm looking forward to it.

To schedule an appointment to view contact Carolyn Tann-Starr, Realtor, REMAX People Realty: 718-483-7339. The featured property is a 2008 2 Family Semi-Detached Contemporary (brick and concrete construction) 3 bedrooms over 3 bedrooms with private drive, full finished basement, 2 eat in kitchens, L shaped living / dining room, gas fuel, steam heat, 2 heating zones and separate hot water heaters. Close to public transportation, schools and shopping. The address is 147-50 Glassboro Avenue, Jamaica NY 11435 (off the corner of Sutphin Blvd). My kids love this place. Noah is sooo into Open Houses and Sutphin Pizza provides Spanking-A buffalo wings to go with our pizza (LOL).
We had a fun snow day. I love being a Work-At-Home-Mom (WHAM) with a hubby on vacation. Having the Big Minion around is nice and The Little Minions have a way of making work not feel like work (LOL). Here's a photo-montage of where we've been today. Enjoy! :-)

Carolyn, great slide show and loved the catchy background tune. Good the minions had fun in the snow. Good luck at the Sunday open house!!
Nice! They look like they had fun. I like the homes in the show. Gotta say, I have absolutely no idea how to winterize a home.
Thank you, Gary. :-)
Thank you, KM. We got somewhere between 4 to 6 inches and then the sleet started (LOL).
Elaine, I have to say it's a bit nerve wrecking. I like to leave it to the men. Seriously! :-)
Those little guys are so darn cute!! xxoo
Looks like a perfect snow day!
Susan, my love, they were wonderful today. Your little virtual nephews were quite charming in the snow. Stephen thought it was amazing and kept pointing and trying to catch the flakes. Very cool watching him run in circles flinging snow. :-)
Crystal, it was really cool. :-)
Looks like a fun day in the snow! My son is stuck at the airport in Chicago -- so far a 5 hour delay and counting -- on his way home for Christmas. I'd much rather be playing out in the snow, than sitting here waiting for him!
Jeannie, 5 hours? Oh my word... that totally whomps!
Carolyn, Lovely post, I love your children posts and was smiling as soon as I saw your son's chrub face. What is that vehicle anyhow? And what lovely snow and snowman. I am taking my teenage sons to the snow next week.....Big Bear!
CTS, I love the photos. I can't believe you all got so much snow. I like the ways you made the photos change, very fun.
Thank you, Jane. Big Bear sound like mad fun. Very cool. Enjoy, sweetie! :-)
Thank you, Audrey. We had fun doing it. Stephen kept wanting to see Noah while Noah kept reversing back to Step (LOL). These two are sooo contrary at times. The rivalry is starting to set in. Too funny! :-)
Kathy P, I used to go wild with my sister when it came to shoveling snow. I think we just wanted to be out there with our Dad. Those are some of my best childhood memories (LOL).
Nothing like a little fresh snowfall to get the minions fired up. :) Great stuff, C. Good luck on the open house!
Thank you, Jesse. :-)
Thank you, Jennifer.
Carolyn, Wish I was still a kid when the snow hits! It USED to be so much fun :) Looks like you and the kids are still having lots of fun! Good luck at the open house, I hope it goes well for you.
Well, we don't have any snow but we do have frost. Sacramento temperatures dipped into the low 30s this past week and now half my cactus garden is dead. :(:(:(
But good for you, C, for actually going out to look at the homes you will be using in your CMA. Do you know how many agents don't do that and should?
Carole, we are having a blast, but I think the little ones are starting to put my back out (LOL). They can get rough and tumble in a heartbeat. Thank you for the well wishes on the open house. :-)
My cousin Nicole is an appraiser. We both subscribe to the rule that you must view the locations and take your own photographs for use in your reports, regardless what is made available for you. Things can change in a heartbeat and we are into original content. Without batting an eye I can always tell you exactly where to find my turtle run photographs when I do a tour of homes and which side of the street I was on when I captured them. The same is true for my CMAs. As a jogger I stay in the streets and learn my areas. It has really been a blessing to me as a Realtor. :-)
Looks like great fun. I bring my daughter with me to most of what I do as a Realtor, and I find that to be a blessing. She's still pretty small (7mos) but we have a great time. She's already an honorary Realtor and I look forward to her being able to interact more. I think it is great that you bring the "little minions" along and write about them and show them off as much as you do! Keep up the good work!! ~A:)
Thank you, Alisha. I find that I concentrate better knowing what they are up to rather than worrying or speculating about what on Earth have my children have gotten themselves into (LOL). They can be quite helpful too. Noah really believes that he is a Realtor. Stephen is starting to get the hang of it as well. They are both Open House crazy, which helps a lot. ;-)
C-Tann,Keep those photos coming. Good use of the camera and the show is really nice. Liked the video.
You are making wonderful memories for those two gorgeous boys. Hope you have the right buyer at your open house.
Thank you, Margaret. I've got my fingers crossed that maintenance has cleared the ice off the ramp so I can get my car out (LOL). It's 39 degrees. I hope it warms up just a tad more. :-)
I can't belive it is colder in Kentucky than NYC. 16 and windy right now. Chanel has gone to hide under the bed.
Snow? What is snow? It was 82 here yesterday! Don't think there is any chance of snow coming my way soon!
Good minion photos...I love looking at the snow, from inside! How'd that Open House go??
Awwww Lizette. Poor pookie (LOL). Under the bed, eh? Oh my word... :-)
Jeremy, you make me want to hop a plane and visit you and my parents (LOL).
Laura, have I got a story for you (LMAO). I don't know if I should answer you here or write another blog post. It was very interesting. ;-)
I'm freezing! :) but a snow man might be fun! Happy Holidays and wishing you and yours a very happy, healthy and prosperous New Year!
Thank you, Midori. May God bless you and your family. Merry Christmas. :-)
Carolyn: That slide show rocks! Fun to see the Snow Minions in action too. We got LOTS here in Northern Wisconsin, and more on the way! Merry Christmas!
