11/21/2008 Dear Diary: I Love Astoria Park, Queens County, New York

I love jogging under the Triborough Bridge. You get a great water view of the residential cityscape of upper Manhattan and Harlem. They have a very well maintained track, not to mention a spanking set of tennis courts. I am plotting a new project with my girlfriends and the hubby. I decided to give you a sneak preview of the photographs to come. I'm doing some research on the area in the hopes of making the presentation useful as a hyper-local post. I may even squeeze in a market report (LOL). Stay tuned for a very interesting turtle run post later on tonight.

Here is a little eye candy from my run. BTW, I've also selected some very interesting blog posts to refer you to later on. Gotta show my peeps some link love. (LOL) Enjoy!

Hey love, where do you find the time?  You are my hero.  Lovely photos.  Still no headset.  Damn dog.

Hey bay-bay! When you work in 20 minute intervals, you can do just about anything (LOL). Hubby is off today and tomorrow. Wanna get together and play? You can direct me to some PA eye candy on Sat if you have a few hours to come out and play... (hint, hint). :-D

Susan, I will bring you a headset (bribe, bribe). Seriously! (LOL)

Jeannette I have a special little black bag that stays with me when I run the streets. As soon as I see something I like, I whip that puppy right out and start framing shots. Then I continue my run. I average 30 - 100 shots per day. There are a lot of SD cards floating around my apartment. :-)

C, running outside can be so refreshing. I miss NY! There are such beautiful places there. Haven't been shopping there in years.
