The Outside Blog Minion Report

October 2008 In Review: Poppy Dinsey
Poppy Dinsey author of "A Thoroughly British Blog" in her A/R post entitled, "UK area in focus - Hove, East Sussex" introduces us to some very lovely eye candy while discussing her new series showcasing geographical locations in the United Kingdom/Europe. Her follow up post, "UK area in focus - Colchester, Essex," gives us insight into the "oldest recorded town in England" and a little bit of fun too if you do decide to take her advice and do the Globrix key word search she suggested.
If I had to describe exactly what I love about my girlfriend's writings it would have to be her sense of irony and wit, not to mention the fact that she has a fabulous photographer's eye when she goes out to collect some eye candy. A perfect example would be "A Walk Around Chester England" and her "A Walk Around London England" posts. Her blog has been described as, "A light hearted blog from London, UK providing an insight into the British property market and the way agents work over here; also focusing on web 2.0 technology and the power of online marketing." I do believe that sums it up rather nicely.
A SEO Diva, Poppy makes blogging lots of fun and it is always a treat to read her posts. You can read Poppy's Outside Blog here, her Globrix blog here, and her Agent Genius blog here.
In her Agent Genius post entitled, "A New Sunday Series From Your British Correspondent" Poppy declares she is "going to start using my Sunday mornings to round up British real estate news for all you AgentGenius fans." Lovely! Looking forward to it because I love AgentGenius and think it was brilliant that they decided to cross the big pond to showcase and contrast the USA and UK markets. You can thank SnarkyGirl Lani Anglin-Rosales for that savvy move. BTW, "Agent Genius Launches AG News & AG Sphere" Posted by Lani Anglin-Rosales is a very good read. Make sure you pass it along! BTW, if you haven't experienced the on-line show SnarkyGirls you might want to start at the beginning and work your way up. Just make sure you look up the definition of snarky before get started because it may help or hinder your decision to go check out SnarkyGirls. It's a hilarious trip to the land of snarkism, but be warned: snark is an acquired taste and snarky irony is not for everyone... It certainly is for me, though. My Briarwood friends are hooked as well. We love Lani and Poppy!

C, all great writers. You are such a good reader to highlight them all for us! Muchas gracias dear friend.
This is a genius idea and a sweet picture of your family in the link.
I love! This is so kind and cool...can't wait for the rest of the series!
I will need to check out poppy...you got some great people...all except me :(
Jeremy, you're in November with Paddy, Kathy, Jason (LOL). The Triple Julies are getting their own jammie for the holidays. Yay!
Poppy, we're having so much fun with this. The e-mails are hilarious! It's great getting to put my head together with Melodious and Mikey (LOL). I also love being able show off my very talented friends and a few people I have just been introduced to. Kari Battaglia is brand spanking new to me. I like her Outside Blog. Very cool! :-D
Thank you, Gary. I've got ten more pages to post featuring them (LOL). The Video we're producing on them is fun. :-)
Haaaa... the little minions with their Dad as an avatar. Who knew?
Carolyn - These are some great writers you have highlighted. I have enjoyed reading Poppy's blog, I knew she was rather funny when she signed up as being in California although she was in England, she was not going to let the Atlantic keep her away from all the fun.
(LOL) She is a true Gem. I was cracking up about that the first time I read her profile. Jennifer, I was hooked from day one!
Nice...
Thanks for the good post and links - I'm off to check out the snarky girls.
Georgina, I hope you enjoy them. The girls are a lot of fun. :-)
