Stephen Isaiah and Michael Starr. Photograph by Noah Ezekiel Starr (my six year old).
Noah took a pretty cool shot of his brother enjoying a few kisses from his Dad. I've been trying to teach him how to use my digital Nikon and I have to say it has been very interesting to see what he sees. It's a little blurred, but the thing I like the most about this shot is the fact that Stephen was fully aware the photograph was being taken. He had such a mischievous look of glee on his face as he cut his eyes back towards his brother as if to say, "Do you see this? Are you getting it? Cool. Daddy kissed ME. Nah nana nah nah! Go ahead -- bite me."
The little minions are always competing with each other (which is not always a good thing - LOL).
Makes life very interesting when Stephen the Destroyer (PDD-NOS) decides to go toe to toe with Noah the Noble (Autism). Needless to say, we, as parents, spent the rest of our day kissing and hugging little people. What a nice contest. Cool. :-)

Carolyn - This photo is priceless, and the fact that it was taken by your other son makes it even cooler. You're right - he looks mischievous here.
Jason, the two of them are a real hoot! They give a whole new meaning to the concept "naughty but nice." :-)
Carolyn, Noah may have a future in photography! Stephen's face is like an open book! I knew as soon as you said his brother took the shot exactly what Stephen was thinking! It's all over that sweet face! This is a real jewel of a pic. Noah did great and Stephen may have a movie career ahead with those looks! Thanks for sharing your men with us C. They're great.
Later in the rain~Deb
Deb, I'm with you about the way this Kodak moment was captured. You should have seen the look on Noah's face. He immediately insisted I had to pick him up and carry and kiss him too. He didn't want to take any more photographs after that. Just wanted all of our love and attention. (LOL)
C,
You have a talented son, watch out he will be following you real close in your exploits with the camera and who knows maybe even the brush and pencil.
Thanks for sharing the family with us.
Don R.
Hi-Just wanted to say what an adorable pic. Pictures say what words can't. Thanks for sharing
Don, thank you for your kind words about my little pookies. Noah may very well be on the path to developing a gorgeous eye. He certainly has a thing for music and art. Who knows... :-)
Pat, thank you! I'm glad you liked the picture. :-)
Carolyn ~ That is a great picture! I love that little smile he is giving his brother and his "look"!
Kathy, Stephen has quite a few "looks." I hope he will be caught in the "act" again. (LOL)
C - a little blurry but a lot of good memory and feelings in this shot. Another treasure that can't be bought.
Amen to that, Big Mike. It's a great shot for a six year old and what a sweet moment.
C- very nice shot. He sure does look like he is up to no good :)
Bill, you hit the nail on the noggin' with that assessment. Stephen can be a real handful. (LOL)
What a great shot, I love to see how my kids take pictures, through there eyes.
C- I love to see the world through the eyes of children. I absolutely love the photo- the love from daddy, and the mischeif from Stephen!!! This will be one for the album!!
Jeannette, isn't that neat when we get a peek at and of what they see from their perspective?
Becky, you and me both! I agree, definitely a keeper for the album! :-)
What a delightful shot. :)
Thank you, Lola. This is probably going to be remembered as one of Noah's best pictures ever.
Carolyn,
Talk about one picture being worth a thousand words...!!! As Jason said...priceless!!! Thanks, Fran
Thank you, Fran. That about sums it up perfectly! :-)
Stephen is definitely putting on "the look" for his brother. He is sooo cute. The photo is wonderful. I have definitely seen much blurrier shots on the local MLS and they were supposedly taken by professionals trying to sell something. Have a great night Carolyn et al
Look at that face!! Too adorable! Hats off to Noah -- like mother, like son! Barbara
C. Noah captured a masterpiece. It is really good and I love the look on Stephens face. He is adorable. You just gotta love kids--they are so cute. Thanks for sharing...
Cute, cute, cute, cute, cute!!! Enjoy those kisses! When they grow up they try to pretend their too cool for kisses.
Thank you, Paddy-Paddy! See you in the morning. Sweet dreams. :-)
Thank you, Barbara. He does seem to be getting the hang of snapping those shots off. I get all kinds of angles from Noah. :-)
Laura, thank you for your kind words. He certainly did create a digital masterpiece. :-)
Pam, I will definitely take your advice and get all the kisses in that I can with the little minions. :-)
What a great shot...nothing like a camera in the hands of one brother to bring out the best in another! Both boys are cuties...your son and your hubby! Enjoy them all...
Thank you, LaShawn. They are something else. Having three hotties in the house can be quite a trip. :-D
Sister C, Noah took an awesome shot of Stephen & Dad. Love the photo, priceless!
Thank you, Brother D! :-)
Carolyn, those kisses and hugs are what makes life enjoyable. Glad your gang is in the middle of all that loving.
What an apple of everyone's eye! His brother got a great shot...at just the right moment too!
Now...if I can just get some grandkids out of my kids I can have some fun. :)
Gary, that is so true! Nothing like a little cuddle to make the day all warm and fuzzy. :-)
C- Sally -C, the timing was perfect! I hope you do get those grandkids! Looking forward to hearing all about them and their antics down the road. :-)
Carolyn, Stephen looks like he is going to be big trouble someday! How cute is this picture!! You pegged it just right... Daddy is kissing me and all you have is that stupid camera!! Lol! Precious.
Susan, only someday? How about trouble right now? That kid is a riot! I'm with you on this one 100%. I can just see the wheels turning in that tiny little minion-mind about which is better, Camera or Daddy! Haaa! You certainly hit that nail on the noggin' with your assessment! (ROTFL)
Carolyn- I love this shot- PRICELESS! and...That eye contact is a really wonderful thing. I love these "Kodak Moments". As a grandma, I am always "evaluating". These are really great things- Noah taking this picture is terrific accomplishment- For a six year old on the autism spectrum this is amazing! Congratulations on the wonderful job you are doing with both boys!
Thank you, Barbara. They certainly make life very interesting! (LOL)
C ~ (Is it Carolyn?) Yes, I had twins, but my twins are now 26. But think about this- I had a four year year old son and a 20 month old son when my identical twin girls were born .... now imagine that ! Yes, I was a little crazy! But hey! I survived! And it was so worth it!
Noah is simply adorable, C. But you're the person to be congratulated for catching this super photograph. I love this.
Looks like Noah may take after mom! The expression on Stephen's face is priceless. It also gives us an idea of the fun that you have in your household. lol As someone else said, thanks for sharing your family with us.
Elizabeth, can't be in on the congrats, Noah did all the work and seems to really enjoy the instant gratification of digital photography. He likes the handy-cam on a tripod as well. We're going to be working on zooming in and out this weekend with the remote for the video camera...
Sondra, I hope he does. He also likes painting and music. I have him dragging and dropping audio clips in Acid 4.0 by Sony.
Vickie, that is mad cool. I'm trying to survive these two with my sanity intact. They know how to give me a run for my money almost every day. :-)
Carolyn - Stephen looks like the cat who stole the canary - and proud of it!
Virginia, he does, doesn't he? (LOL)
