Had a fascinating time doing research at central booking and criminal court
The fun thing about writing drafts of books is that I get to interview my professional friends on all sorts of interesting issues like forensics and police procedures. I'm trying to destroy the life of one of my characters so I've been taking notes all day while refreshing my law enforcement recollection on a number of small details. This has to be logical and believable on so many interesting levels and petty, minute details...
Tonight is a write night. The kids are at Walmart with hubby so I only have 30 minutes left to play at Starbucks before I have to get back to Jen's and cook dinner. I need to finish 2,000 words today for my new writing project. I have no idea where my characters are going tonight but I can't wait to find out (evil grin). My snarky gal pals are looking at chapter one now. I think it's gonna be a long evening if that twitching eye brow of Jen is any indication of the verbal blood sport that's about to begin. She's my fave Starbucks patio b*tch and is mad funny during Book Club (LOL). I keep thinking I have to do a pajama party with her and Sana at Emmy's. The cartoons in my head are going, "What fresh blog hell is this?" I should film that if it ever comes to pass (silly grin) because I laugh with them all the time. :-)
Looking forward to NaNoWriMo. I have to go log in and find my writing buddy Amy DeZellar, then say hello to my Tweople and FB-peeps. I've been off line working all day and really miss chatting with them. ;-)

Well, now Ms. C! That heading totally got my attention. Are your writing scripts for Castle?
Patricia, never tried my hand at writing something for Castle but you've certainly planted a seed (LOL). ;-)
C Tan - I'm jealous on many levels. Writing a book is something I've thought about many time and even started but never done. Research with friends sounds even better.
Christine, it is mad fun.
It sounds like CSI or Sherlock Holmes... or much much better!? All good! K
Kathy, it's mad fun. I'm sitting in Starbucks typing away and creating book trailers for my blog (silly grin).
