Life With Wee People: Welcome to my naked yard...

Carolyn Tann Starr 2011

I am about to spend a week making my hubby crazy taking the wee people to Lowes and Home Depot. My goal is to clothe this space with some color. The Florida house lost all of it's flowers to freaky weather (check out the hail pics) and I've been on-line doing virtual window shopping making my dig-in-the-dirt wish list before I fly down to relax with my family.

Stephen, the Minion Blur and I have decided we need to re-build the butterfly garden. Minion Landscaping happens to be one of his favorite things to do so the fact that we have to start from scratch makes for very interesting Skype conversations (LOL). I also plan on working on my band page while I'm there. The shorties and I are gonna make a bunch of YouTubes (yup - created new music for the Autism/PDD-NOS crew to spoof with - LOL).

Next week I'll be FL beach blogging so I have to make the most of this NYC week end (and beach blog up here while running amok with the cousins and a few of my fun, snarky book buddies). ;-)

P.S. today is day two of Amy being on Facebook. Go say hello to my fabulous tweet-peep while we book club bookies cook up the subject of my next blog post.

It's girlie-girlie day. We're having breakfast in Starbucks and negotiating who is going to be apartment sitting for me while I am gone. Then we're going to go out and play for the rest of the day. Play to us equals Anything Can Happen (and probably will - so stay tuned for God knows what - silly grin). ;-)

What part of Florida is this in? Will you be visiting South Florida?

Oh, welcome to Florida in the summer... when it either hasn't rained for a while or it pours down every drop of rain all at the same time!  Let us see some pics of the new butterfly garden!

Terri, we're in Palm Bay, minutes from Melbourne. We usually hang out in Orlando, Melbourne, Daytona and Palm Bay while there. The kids like exploring the beaches along the Indian River so I'm quite sure I'm leaving a few neighborhoods out. I'm still learning Florida people (LOL).

LOL @ Silvia. It's some of the strangest weather I have ever seen. Last year while I sat in the backyard blogging on my laptop all the light just disappeared. It went from high noon to night in the span of minutes. Those were some of the darkest storm clouds I have ever seen. The sky just freaking disappeared. It was crazy. I had to turn the lights on in my house to see in the middle of the day. Holy cow! What a lightening show...
