The Tai Chi Crew

The Tai Chi Crew

I love matial arts. I have lots of interesting martial toys. I'm going to the gym this afternoon to do some strength training because I'm working on not being chubby. Translated: I have to get rid of my baby Buddha belly and futon fanny (LOL).

I'm hovering between 150 and 145 pounds. I want to get to 135. The girls are helping me out with that. I am in guest pass heaven and have gone from a size 16 to a size 10 under my NYSC gym membership, but now I'm too busy bouncing between states to have a gym membership anywhere (which kinda sucks - LOL).

I owe my music label three music videos so now I have to do something about that. I have a film crew at my disposal so I'm off to do my part and mix it up with the Tai Chi crew before I hit the sports gym. I'll pick the songs by next week, then when I get back from vacation some poor martial arts choreographer is going to have to teach me something new to do with my body (oh joy! Won't that be fun?).

Will I blog about it? Hmm... Maybe if something fun comes up (like me getting my a$$ repeatedly kicked - LOL).

Gotta run. I have a date with the machines (and yeah- I'll be blogging about it - silly grin). ;-)

OMGosh, you've already gone from 16 to 10??? That's huge! I'm stuck in a place that I can't seem to budge from. Now, I'm inspired!

Lee & Pamela, the visuals may get really trippy on those (LOL). I have a 1pm and a 2pm scheduled for today. I'm trying to enjoy my last half hour of chillin' at Starbucks before I grab a Subway sandwich and head out for a new, fresh hell (LMAO). My sparring partners and trainers are amazing. I have manuals I need to memorize and training videos I need to absorb. It's mad fun and pretty exciting. ;-)

Connie, it really is all about diet and exercise. You don't have to do anything crazy either. Just changing small habits one at a time and eating healthier rather than hop through fad dieting. I'm going to be doing a guest blog on a training site soon to lay out everything I've gone through to get to this point. No guru speak - just the facts and results. :-)

I did a little bit of Tai Chi.  I think it must be one of the most beautiful martial arts.
