C Tann-Starr's Outside Blog

When did my music tweets become music reviews? Where's my friggin' tweet memo on this?

When did my music tweets become music reviews? Where's my friggin' tweet memo on this? They have my photograph, my name, my Wordy C trade mark/service mark moniker, a link to my ActiveRain blog, a link to my jango music site and have posted five of my tweets on their website as me doing music reviews...

Seriously? SERIOUSLY? Saying "I'm listening to FERGIE's FERGALICIOUS" is NOT a "music review"

Are we soooooooooo starved for creating original content on-line that people now feel a need to have to do something like this? If you were quoting me, fine, I said it on-line. Big friggin' deal. However, my Google Alerts is telling me I did FIVE MUSIC REVIEWS so of course I clicked the link to find out what the hell was going on because I don't know who you are and can't recall doing "music reviews" for you.

Now I'm wondering should I melt down or laugh about this... after all, I did do the tweets but I hate the search engine "music review" misdirection. If you want to build a music site then be honest about what I did. I tweeted what I liked listening to. That's all...

You should respect people's photographs, trade marks, service marks and twitter accounts. Twitter isn't a fee for all for you to grab our names and images to drive traffic to your website. People QUOTE from twitter and cybersociety finds that perfectly permissible... Just sayin call a spade a spade so people don't go over there expecting something that's not happening... I'm not going to drive traffic there by linking to what b*tched me out but I do expect you to fix this... I like music sites. If you had asked me I would have written music reviews for you.
