Lunch was mad fun. I just watched every YouTube I could find on Kim and enjoyed the interviews. Created another sketch from all that lovely reference material. This one is on 12x16 canvas also. Off to stick them both in 16x20 frames. I have to protect those puppies because graphite can be a real pain if you smudge it. Seriously. Original art is nice but some mediums are more high maintenance than others. ;-)
Still learning how to draw Kim. I'm thinking of switching to pen and ink after dinner before I get back to painting for the gallery. Might even show you what I'm painting... maybe... Depends upon how good or bad it comes out. I destroy a lot of art during the creative process... Don't ask. Not telling (LOL). ;-)

I see the 1+ button, Let us know how that works for you! Noticed the reference to Kim Harrison on your last post. Guessing you're a fan?
Kristal, I am a huge unrepentant fan. I love her work. Chicka is intellectually drop dead gorgeous when it comes to plotting, pacing and crafting characters you grow to love. I own every single book. I used to be able to say that only about Poe and Shakespeare (LOL). ;-)
I am an avid reader of character driver books with rich plots. Have to search out Kim Harrison. Somehow she passed me buy.
Maya, my writing mentors assigned reading Kim as homework to improve me. Had to pass their pop quiz before they would take me on. Best dare ever!!! I'm totally hooked (LOL). She's on my Android, laptop and I have her paperbacks and hardcovers. Fun is reading through the material a second time and picking up all the significant little details I missed because I didn't know the characters. I started reading the hollows series in the middle and quickly realized I needed to start at the beginning. #9 "Pale Demon" is my fave so far but I love them all. Chicka has an amazing imagination. I'm waiting for the Graphic Novel next month. Sweet! ;-)
