Life With Wee People: Housecamp

Michael Starr 2011

Life With Wee People: Housecamp

Step One: Remove the bedding and pillows...

Step Two: Gather your favorite toys...

Step Three: Get comfy

Step Four: Have fun. ;-)

Psssst... don't forget the snack-age. The shorties are serious about their snack-age (LOL). ;-)

Step Five: Repeat steps two through five until you happily pass out from giggles and wee people exhaustion.

I loved making "forts" when I was that age-- draping blanket over upended furniture to create little cubbies and crawlspaces... then I would fill an old "sucrets" tin with tiny marshmallows and crawl in!  :-)

Looks like fun.....and a big job managing the "shorties!"

Kathy, my kids can create some very interesting caves and forts. Sometimes they freak me out by dressing their plush toys in my underwear. Every try explaining to a five year old your thong is not an eye patch for Elmo? I needed gal pal therapy behind that one (LOL). ;-)

Kirsten, the shorties are a mad fun industry unto themselves (LOL). I love my second childhood! :-D

AW!! They look like they're having a blast! I used to make forts out of couch cushions when I was a kid. Memories, huh?

Stept 5: Get them in Cub Scouts!

Hehehe - I so remember the little guys making forts for hours on end. These little guys look like they're having the time of their life!  Sure keep Momma going too, huh!!

Mykel, fun is watching my kids discover golf and using hubby's clubs to smack beach balls around the house (LOL).

Bill, if they have an Autistic troop, yeah. I'm not sure if the Cub Scouts are ready for Stephen the Blur Minion yet. They may be... we shall see (and have lots of fun blogging about it - LOL) ;-)

Anna, I love when the boys are cracking wise and playing nice (LOL). Stephen has been doing a lot of singing lately and monsters from the cave is turning out to be one of my fave games. I'm pretty good at being a mommy monster (and running from their counter attacks - LOL). Mike is the best because he hides and scares the crap out of us. You'd think we wouldn't fall for it but he likes to startle us (LOL). ;-)
