Blogger has an interesting transliteration feature... Can we get that on AR?

A reader brought it to my attention because she wants me to write rather than link over there. It adds a button to the toolbar for converting words from English to the selected language of a user. I think it's a neat improvement and definitely will get me writing more on that platform. Imagine publishing in Hindi or French. :-)

Can we get that feature over here on ActiveRain?

That would be a mad cool improvement if you guys can figure out how to do it. I suck at other languages but there are plenty of people here who read and write in all sorts of neat dialects. My hubby can do Hebrew. The idea of an Israeli edition of Life With Wee People is kinda fun for me (LOL). I could also high-jack my Russian gal pals for a bit of childish fun as well. ;-)

Good Morning C Tann...Now, that will be a nice feature to be able to blog in different languages. We all know the intranet is worldwide now. Having a larger audience can be very healthy for a lot us.

Jerry, I was thinking along similar lines. It would be really cool if we could dedicate outside blogs in a Spanish, French or Hindi edition. Imagine the possibilities of syndicating your work in multiple languages. I love the idea. Google created a goldmine with that feature. :-)

As our nation becomes more and more diversified.... the languages are becoming more important as well. It would be a wonderful treat to be able to serve more than one language.

Lindsey, I am with you on that. I downloaded all of the Coffee Break Spanish episodes because learning Spanish is a mandatory part of the FL state's educational curriculum. The idea of converting my blog to a Spanish edition on Blogger is a tantalizing distraction for me. :-)

Anything built in the menu is fine by me Carolyn. I use Google Translator all the time for my foreign reading. It does expand what we write to others that don't read English. Way cool. I am in agreement with you on this one.

Gary, I recently started playing with the feature and absolutely love it. The potential to connect with other is huge. I hope they take a crack at doing this somewhere down the road. :-)

Karen, very cool indeed. I do well in Korea. I'm making inroads into Pakistan. :-)
