Kindle For PC Rocks!

Kindle For PC Rocks!

I put off doing this for a long time and now that I finally gave in I am virtually kicking myself for waiting so long to download the Kindle For PC app (LOL).

There was a book that I needed to help me develop an iPhone application. I had no luck at Barnes and Nobles (it's a hot tech seller), so I decided to try my luck with Amazon.com since they host one of my music websites.

Not only was the book in stock, it had a discount on the price if I did a download using Kindle for PC.

Fave discovery (besides the instant gratification of an immediate download): You can highlight text and write notes in your Kindle book.

Yay! My little tech heart is singing a happy beat...

Scary is Wordy C joining the Apple Developer program (LOL). ;-)

Pssst... I really did register with Apple. I need an iPhone app so I'm writing one. :-D

Hi Carolyn... I am almost afraid to ask, but what exactly does your proposed app do? :-)

Oh yeah... and will there be an android version for those of us who are not AT&T inclined?

Steve, if I can get it to work I'll tell you (LOL). I need a good droid primer... I have dumb phones. I'm migrating to smart phones this year. Stay tuned for adventures in programming with wee people (LOL). ;-)

I'm excited to poke around the sites you mentioned and excited to see what you put online.

Kimberly, I am discovering a whole new world with these smart devices. Sometimes I think we are so used to having them around that we never really consider all of the opportunities and advantages they present. I read an article about a 12 year old who wrote an app using Objective C and the book I just purchased the other day. I found myself thinking if a 12 year old can do it, what the heck am I waiting for... 7,000 plus pages later I sat here and went Ooooooooo, I can do this (LOL). ;-)
