Life With Wee People: Dinner With Margaret...
We love the people living in our computer. They help make our road trips mad fun. While hanging out in MD we were treated to a lovely Italian dinner by Margaret Rome.
Stephen, the Minion Blur is in love with Margaret and frequently demands to see "The Chocolate Car." I am convinced that shorty is going to be a Lexus driver when he grows up because all he wants to do is roam the streets of MD with Margaret in her car. If we drove in circles around a parking lot he'd be happy. When ever she arrives I and my Hyundai get kicked to the curb (LOL).
My cheeky monkey enjoyed his meal so much he wouldn't let me wipe the sauce off of his face. Instead, he took the cloth napkins and stuck them in his plate to clean the sauce off to make room for pizza and to drive a hot wheel car around the edge (LOL).
Gotta go save my Mom's antiques from a curious, hot wheel driving four year old who keeps trying to build an obstacle course with the "Ooooooo shiny" stuff (LOL). Will take you guys on a tour of SC later... We're going to Manning so call me if you wanna come out and play with the wee people.
I need a Chinese buffet. Any suggestions? Feel free to post a link or give me directions because Stephen has to have his chicken noodle soup. He's already bent out of shape about the lack of NY bagels so I do not want to do another 400 miles without the kid getting his friggin' Chinese food. He throws toys and kicks the back of my seat while I am driving, so yes, I frequently entertain the whims of my 4 year old while on an AR road trip. ;-)
I am thinking Myrtle Beach for sea food later... They have a really cool Starbucks I wanna go visit. My yuppie kids are totally into Tazo tea and lemon loafs. So am I... :-)
