We are planning a very special Thanksgiving :-)

We are planning a very special Thanksgiving :-)

Noah loves to help me cook and is very careful in the kitchen. This will be Stephen's first shot at playing "Chef of the Future" so we figured we'd ditch the NY apartment and have it at our FL home to give the wee people lots of room to have some fun and make a major mess (LOL).

Being digital film fanatics means we will probably capture Stephen's how to cook Monkey Bread lessons. Ever make Monkey Bread? It's amazingly simple and lots of fun. Check out this "How To" video guide on About.com by Cliff Wildman entitled "Easy Monkey Bread."

How cool is Cliff? VERY! His video is brief, direct and to the point. The shorties can do this. Noah has already tried. Now the wee people are going to do this together next week. :-)

How cool will our cooking lessons be? Stay tuned to find out... They will probably be more fun than cool because I'm pretty silly in the kitchen with my kids (and usually spend half my time throwing them out of it in NY - LOL). ;-)

Since shorty is four, I need more fun stuff to teach him cooking skills. Feel free to embed your "How To" foodie links here in the comments section so we can experiment BEFORE Thanksgiving. The Minion Blur and I thank you in advance. Going food shopping in a few minutes. Will update you on our next foodie experiment later.

Might use one of yours if you post me a link before I finish collecting supplies at BJs and Target. :-)

I am already smiling about this project...a kid's cookbook or video series in the making? Love the monkey bread video. This is going to be mad fun.

Margaret, the best part about it is I can high-jack other peoples kitchens (LMAO). Already started working on high-jacking one for this week end. We are gonna go upstate and cook with a few friends. Yay! ;-)

I'm sure your 4 year old would love to make cookies from scratch. They are really cute covered in flour.
