Life With Wee People: National Harbour

We crammed an amazing amount of sightseeing into our last day of vacation and I will admit to being very glad we're home. It's kinda nice to be sitting on our New York living room floor blogging about the shorties while they snore on the futon. I have no idea why we bothered to give them the bedroom (they hardly ever sleep there - LOL).

I am in the middle of creating a YouTube for the Outside Blog Minion Report regarding this location. Running amok to collect eye candy in Virginia, DC and Maryland was mad fun and these are two of my favorite wee people shots from yesterday. While the boys are in school later on today I am going to try and finish the song floating in my head that Stephen started humming.

He was tickled pink to discover that the giant head emerging from the sand also had a few other body parts poking up. "Driving the toes" became one of Stephen's favorite sayings while he rolled cars everywhere he discovered a suitably interesting surface. Of course he demanded we join him and having the only two cars immediately on hand required I pretend drive my cell phone while the boys squabbled over possession of Lightning McQueen and a hot wheel race car (LOL).

All that is interesting is there  just for you and the boys to discover! Did anyone ever suggest that you make a terrific photo journalist?

Margaret, I'm playing freelance photo journalist on other websites (LOL). :-)

I used to visit "The Awakening" frequently when it was at its DC location. Glad to see your boys enjoying the giant.  Did they sit in his hand?

Posted by Irene Kennedy Realtor® in Northwestern NJ (Weichert) about 10 years ago

Irene, they avoided the hand completely (LOL).
