Summer Vacation Has Been Fun... Psst... We may play hookie for a few more days (LOL)

The wee people are learning how to grill and drive tractors. I have really cool film of them hanging with my Dad. He let them cut the grass. That was mad fun. I should FB this (LOL).

Testing out hubby's Windows 7 in the den. I'm thinking I may stick with Vista... Yeah, I'm being a crab about it because it's way too helpful and a wee bit complicated. I never want my passwords remembered and it's very keen on doing so. The tweaking and learning curve isn't too bad but do I really want to learn this? Hmm... Maybe... maybe not (Mikey likes it so it can't be that bad - LMAO).

Recharging the laptop. Will start spoofing with yall sometime after dinner. I am being dragged out of the house because my kids wont stop playing with the golf clubs in the living room. Seems they think it's too hot to play outside and have vacated the yard. So far they have manage to play football, beach ball and golf in the house. Thank goodness I left the tennis rackets behind... Poor Mikey... He worked so hard painting this place. We scratched the wall yesterday. I promised to fix and paint it so I might do a mural while I'm here. Gotta find a SuperTarget. ;-)

Time to go get some eye candy. Will definitely mess with you guys after dinner... Wait until you see where we've been. We've been all over the place.

Oooo a new Google feature. If I hover over a word it gives me suggestions in Spanish and English. I am soooo getting off Mike's computer. Those little paragraphs popping up are very distracting. I keep reading them.

How compulsive is that? Very... (LOL)

Stay tuned for back to back Life With Wee People. The shorties are the boss of me so we may be late for Summer School by a day or two. They like driving Papa's tractor. They're getting good at cutting the fields. BTW, we finally tore that porch down... ;-)

Enjoy the day.  I've managed to convince my kids to play outside but i'm sure it won't last.

LOL @ Dr Stacey. I know what you mean. I'm trying to convince them they should host a 4th of July party but their only interest in buying a grill is to play SpongeBob Fry Cook (LMAO). I thought they would love the yard. Instead, they love our master bathroom. Go figure...

Kids... Ya gotta love them... even when they are quirky... :-)

Sounds like you and the Wee People are going to have a fun Fourth!  Just move away from your computer!

I should talk.

I can see that you are so into your kids, and aren't they such a blessing.

US Flag     Hope you and your family have a safe and happy 4th of July!

Patricia, I have been driving Melody Botting crazy because I haven't been on the computer much. I got Rainers to Google info for me while I run amok (LMAO). Social media is a hoot. Thank God for great friends. I even got stuck and had Judy Chapman and Richard Weisser help us out while in GA. I owe them and Mel a great big hug and kiss. They kept me sane during an insane moment. :-)

Rebecca, I am wild about the shorties. We're having a second childhood (LOL).

Yall enjoy the day! We're having mad fun teaching the kids to cook and drive (among other things). :-)

Stick with Windows 7, I love it.  And Office 10 is out.  Keeping my eyes out on a way to get a discounted version of that.

Carolyn, I agree with Jane.  Stick with Windows 7 - it really has a wonderfulness factor.

Glad to hear they are driving the tractor and having so much fun! Keep enjoying your summer adventures. Great to see you!

CTS,

My nephew and niece adore driving Uncle Chip's tractor. They'll be overnighting this week so we can ride Thomas the Train on Friday.  Plus fishing with marshmallows is on the agenda.  VERY serious stuff!

Posted by Irene Kennedy Realtor® in Northwestern NJ (Weichert) about 8 years ago

Irene, very cool. I have been off the computer entertaining the shorties who have been giving me a run for my money. The wee people are having mad fun and I'm exhausted trying to keep up with them. Looking forward to taking a nap. Seriously (LOL). I really, really need some down time. Thomas the Train is Nirvana for Stephen. Will have to come check that out. :-)

Margaret, will post eventually. Seems I keep staying places with no wireless (LOL). ;-)

Kathy, got pics and movies (LOL). We were farming and landscaping fools for two weeks. VERY cool. We love digging in the dirt. Yard work is relaxing. The water hose fights are fun too. :-)

Susan, it's like they borrowed features from Apple (LOL). I love my Mac Cube but I find Windows 7 disconcerting... It keeps trying to remember stuff I don't want it to remember and track things I do not want tracked. Not my computer so I can't mess with Mikey's settings. All he does is play World of Warcraft on it. Dude has no business programs. It's driving me crazy. How can one not at least have MS Office??? Open Office even??? I wanted to write a letter and he told me he had NotePad (LMAO). Men... (sigh) ;-0

Jane, I was beta testing it and am happy to report my version is still working (although I know I have to buy a copy eventually. :-)
