Life With Wee People: Curb Swimming 101

Life With Wee People: Curb Swimming 101

One of the best things about letting kids take the lead is the fact that they know how to jump in and have fun. I was supposed to be working on an outline of "How To" videos to produce over the Summer with the help of some very talented friends.

Instead, I found myself making a "quirky-quickvid" with my shorties and deciding I should let them show me how to do stuff... Guess what I learned how to do this weekend (LOL). ;-)

You are only a kid once. You are a great Mom C. Do you know how many parents would freak if their kids did that? I taught my son the fun in riding bikes through puddles when he was little. He loved it :)

Did you jump in with them after the video?! :) Sometimes we all need to remember what it was like to be a kid. Growing up the 50's the neighborhood stay at home Mom's used to run through the sprinklers with us, ride bikes and sake with us. It was hard to imagine those Mom's were under 30 years old at the time! Wonderful video. Great job, you're a great Mom. :)

Hi guys! We are doing carnival today. I expect them to get nice and dirty in the park later. Might be doing DC tomorrow. My shorties like MD so it will be fun to watch them possibly discover another place to play. ;-)

They are so funny!  I personally would be miserable in wet jeans and shoes, but what do I know about fun? LOL

Boy's feet can find a puddle!  I have a much loved story of mine about that age, it involves lots of water and mud.  didn't have the tech. then to document it.  I did think to take a couple of photos b/c I knew someday it would be funny.  At the time, not so much!  cw

LOL @ Cher. I know there have been times when I've stood there with a scowl on my face only to have them say something funny to make me realize it is only dirt. We can do laundry later (LOL).
