I Am Going To Quote Someone I Am Looking Forward To Meeting: Kate Gaffin

"So my question to you is, will you not go for what you want based on the reason that others ‘have it easier,’ ‘are just naturally talented,’ or ‘simply lucky?’ Or will you take a deep and hard look inward and realize ‘There is nothing I can’t do if I simply get out of my own way.’ How do you get out of your own way? You start by stopping with all the excuses…"

Kate Gaffin has a very interesting website that doesn't have a lot of blog posts on them: http://www.ConnectingToGreatness.com

This quote is from her April 8th post "No One Is Dropped On Top Of The Mountain."

Besides being a great post, it reminds me you don't have to write anything unless you really want to and have something to share. Quantity never trumps quality... Even in spoof and humor if that happens to be the way your writing is bent. Just say what you mean and have fun with your social media networking. Don't be afraid if the conversation goes somewhere you didn't originally intend. If you say what needs to be said your voice will be heard if you keep trying to get people to listen. Kate has my attention... I hope she has yours.

She has a low-key interesting approach to marketing herself.  Good find, C.

Thank you, Jane. I would love to have a chat with her and hope our paths cross at a business function I plan on attending if my schedule works out. I need a minion sitter. :-)

I'd have to say there's a lot of truth in that quote C, and it was a good one to share. I'll have to check out the site.
