C Tann-Starr's Outside Blog

Carolyn Tann-Starr 2010

We didn't mean to but we kinda ruined Mike's work out yesterday...

Seems Stephen thought he should be jogging with his father and kept leaving the playground to race down the path after him. I had to call his cell phone to make him stop his exercise routine, pack up the canvas and go on a 0.82 walk around Cunningham Park with the shorty.

Noah was on his scooter and kept gliding in circles around us. We did manage to get some drawing done and I'm hoping we can talk Mini-Me into hanging out with the crayon brigade this afternoon instead of chasing after his father.

Stephen did very well. He walked, hopped, skipped, ran and jumped his way around the path oblivious of the fact he was running a wee people marathon (LOL).

Today should be very interesting... Were going out after school to create something colorful. Who knows what we will get into later. The kids are playing TomTom and shall be telling us where to go (LOL). :-)

Ahhha this is so sweet of the two 'men'!! I love hearing your stories about your shorties!  It really is a nice way for me to end my evening and relax with a sweet post like this one!  Thanks C :)

This is adorable.  They looks so peaceful.

Jane, peaceful moments are short lived with Stephen the Blur Minion. Dude is quick and usually is crashing something around the house. Last night it was my computer. He hit the switch to turn everything on one wall off (LOL). My battery kept me from realizing the wall was off. Went to the bathroom, came back, everything on the tower was gone and my laptop was beeping. Oh well... :-)

Claude, those are some of my fave pictures. I love watching them sleep. I am perched on the edge of the bed right now chatting with you guys while looking at my kids drool into their pillows (LOL). ;-)

Thank you, Anna. I love chatting about the boys. :-)

Margaret, Stephen laughed and happily announced, "Daddy sleeping!" to which Mike replied, "Yes. Daddy is trying to sleep. Go to school." ;-)

Thank you, Wendy. My guy pie is a sweetie. :-)

Caron's Gateway, very true. In the twinkling of an eye. ;-)

LOL @ Don. I think chasing Noah on a scooter kinda did us all in (LOL).

Andrea, the we people rule (LOL).

Carolyn:  Stephen must have needed Daddy time and he got it!  Kudos to Dad for being such a good sport.

I love the shot and I do have to say spending time with dad was more fun than letting him take off for his run!

Posted by Todd Clark, Principle Broker Oregon (eXp Realty LLC) over 10 years ago

Thank you, Susan. :-)

Jane, shorty is very demanding when it comes to neck kisses and cuddling (LOL). There are days when I am trying to write that I have to tell him, "Not my monkey!!!" because he's always climbing on my back for a ride to the kitchen. He likes to view the contents of the upper cabinets from on high (LOL).

Todd, it was a blast. That kid is mad funny (LOL). :-)
