ActiveRainer Tony Chen (Jet Direct Funding Corp.)
Starbucks and Yotveta are my morning spots today.
While at Yotveta I started updating my February Newsletter which basically means I am happily disrupting the working day of a couple of Rainers (LOL). I love being an AR Ambassador and mentoring people on how to blog is mad cool. Even better if you can do it in a place with yummy snack-age (LOL).
Mr. Chen is helping me with a couple of projects. I hooked up with him at Starbucks after I had my shake and an Israeli coffee. I have discovered early on in life that the best thing to do is hire professionals and get the heck out of their way so they can do what they do for you. It can make for a really cool news article (or blog post) later if they consent to an interview.
As a writer you should always look for opportunities to interview people. Don't take your business relationships for granted. They can teach you things you may otherwise not be aware of. I learn something new every day. That's why I love blogging my thoughts as well. Sometimes, I get to surprise you (LOL).
I enjoy your e-mails and would like to take this time to thank my readers for writing. Rather than try to answer your mortgage questions, I am going to ask Tony, then write up the interview so you can hear answers from a Senior Mortgage Consultant.
While Tony and I cook up a new real estate trends and marketing post for my newsletter I will leave you guys with a very simple thought: Get out of the office and connect face to face with the people you have digital conversations with. Nothing beats converting your virtual friends into brick and mortar ones. Seriously... BTW, I invited him to RainCamp. I hope he can make it because it is short notice. I also just swiped a stack of business cards from him just in case he can't. High-jacking his stack reminded me I need to replenish my own (LOL). I will be designing new cards for my latest project because our start up is going to launch at RainCamp. The paperwork will be finished on Monday.
Gotta run. I have work to do, people to meet, eye candy to photograph and wee people getting out of school after 2 (LOL). If I am lucky I might even catch Sana sometime during the day to chat over tea and donuts. ;-)
