I have been cracking up all day and having a wonderful time showing off your web pages, Life With Wee People, ActiveRain and holding attendees to my seminars hostage until they signed up for their free ActiveRain accounts (LMAO). They couldn't follow along with class without being a member because we clicked and visited quite a few of your blogs today.
We have new bay-bays to welcome to the Network. Here are a few photographs and a video excerpt from one of my classes. The first one was standing room only so they moved me to a larger conference room with comfy chairs. I had lots of give aways and we played the Wordy C version of Truth or Dare. Yes... there is film (LOL). ;-)

BTW, everyone joked they were Google Whores for the rest of the afternoon (LOL) ;-)
ROFL!!! Looks like fun! When are you coming to Boston or "Woosta"? I'd love to attend! :)
Sincerely,
Kathleen
It sounds as though you were just having too much fun ma'am. We may need a presenter next year wanna come down?
Looks like a great session C. One of these days I need to attend a REBar Camp. Or not.
C:
You've got to get a gold star with a title like that!
you were the BEST today! Thanks so much for sharing your knowledge. It was great meeting you in person!!
Looks like you had a captive audience.
Oh my gosh, Miss C. Looks like you had a great turnout and a great time. I wish I was on the East Coast. They're so lucky! From the "Bingo Whore" to the "Google Whore", love it! (We're all really whores of one kind or another, aren't we? LOL)
Love seeing you and hearing you with a captive audience. Knew that a small room would never be enough to contain all the people wanting to be at your session.
C!!! It was SO great to meet you in person- you gave us information we can use NOW to improve our blogging experience and you made the session a lot of fun. That room was PACKED. Thanks for coming to #rebcrdu.
So great to meet you IRL today! Hate I missed your sessions! I was working the show during the first and speaking during the other. Look forward to watching the vid!
How come the camera did not pan on you?
It was SOOOOOOO much fun being in your seminars! You are a treasure, my friend. Hope you get to some spend the day with me! I do believe we could have 'mad fun' as you say!
Once I got over the fact that you didn't have a rainbow of colors over your head, I was pleased to volunteer for sherpa duty...and watch your skills in action. Next time you head South, point your car towards Chapel Hill. What a GREAT time we had...LOL
TweetMeMe is reporting this post is a hot retweet topic (tiny url 8 times - LOL). It made it to page 2 of Google this morning. The original post is on page one. Hmm... I am writing my next Diary of a Google Whore post right now (LMAO). I am soooooo easily amused. ;-)
Kathleen, I have to look into that. That sounds like mad fun and I love "Fringe" so it would be a real hoot to collect some Boston eye candy. We shall have to talk more about it. ;-)
Don, to meet you in real life would be simply amazing. I absolutely love you and your blog. :-)
Hi Papa! We have so gotta do one together! I wanted to go to the Miami verson so bad but life got in the way. Maybe next time. Miamism.com is a fave site for me and Ines is such a wonderful person. BB, I'm looking forward to spending more time with you, Mama and the FL peeps. :-)
Jesse, I infected a whole bunch of people yesterday with laughter. Every time I turned around people were buzzing stating I can't believe you said that... "Are you doing another session?" turned into the fave qustion of the afternoon (LOL). The second most asked question: "Are you really a Realtor?" (ROTFLMAO) At one point I was starting to get a complex until I realize people were actually sitting there reading my blog (LOL). Dang... I may have to write more useful posts about real estate because I don't want to confuse 'em all (LOL). The cool thing was getting them started in the Rain and telling them buy the writer's directories and start where you are right now. Will chat more about that later. :-)
Nellie, it was a real treat meeting you. The pleasure was all mine. :-)
Pat, it was my first time teaching at REBarCamp and I collected so many business cards and got so many invites to participate in upcoming events I was chatting with the hubby into the wee hours about what I may want to go do next. I promised them I'd post the virtual handhouts for the seminar in the Rain. Will save that for when I get home tonight so it can be up for Sunday. I am having breakfast with some of the Ambassadors and I am crazy GaGa over Carol Smith, Ann Allen, Connie Harvey and a host of other really neat people. I laughed until I cried with them. Friggin' Carol made me mess myself in the parking lot from laughing too much. I'm 44, I am not supposed to have an accident like that. Her response: come to my house you can wash your clothes later (ROTFLMAO). Guess what? Ann and I are going to Carol's house (LMAO). Will give you a Live from Smith post later. We should film this. Seriously (LMAO) :-)
ROTFLMAO @ Heather C. Oh yeah! I may hve to write about my Hagen Daz fetish next. Hahahahahaaaaa! I have to cross over to the other side because there are just too many fun people over there. Think of the films we could make together (LMAO). ;-)
Margaret, I was thinking I would show up, hang with the Chaos crew and be a spectator. I had no idea it was such a friggin' hit until the committee members starting looking for me trying to get two afternoon sessions going. I did a morning encore and they announced it on Twitter. The larger room they moved me to filled up as well. So many people came up to me later and stated they were so sorry they missed my sessions because it was the talk of the Camp and not what anyone expected at all. What I taught was very "do able." Instantly "do able" and they liked that. Especially the YouTube being created while they were watching. I showed off the programs that I use to a small group and burned disks of the YouTube before it was uploaded so people could have video CDs. My fave part was when I passed the 2010 89th annual edition of the Writer's Market around during both seminars and for the first time they realized there was over 3,500 paying venues to get your stuff published. The attendees took serious notes the whole time I was fooling around with my websites showing them what they could do based upon what we do here in the Rain. I had so many people sit there and sign up to AR it wasn't even funny. I let people without a laptop use mine to make a free account. People were doing it on their smart phones for crying out loud (LOL). They finally started to realize why I write about anything and everything that interests me. Publishers and people want to see what you've done and will come back for a second look if you have to have something interesting to showcase. Multiple streams of revenue require multiple themes to based it upon. BTW, your autographed books were quite a prize to give away. We have to get together on my way back up I-95 because I may accept another invitation to present at another engagement closer to home and would like to play Truth or Dare again and give away more neat prizes. :-)
Debbie, I hope I catch up with you gain before I go because I would really like to spend more time with the people living in my computer. :-)
Heather O, I am editing more video, making new music and hooking up a photo montage. Will post a REBar review after I fool around with more Rainers for breakfast and lunch. I want their input and impressions. :-)
Jane, I was more interested in capturing the attendees. The room was too large for me to get the people seated against the walls but I wanted to at least get most of the conference table. Making them realize being a Google Whore is a good thing is always a fun AHA moment (LMAO). The second session was larger than the first because everyone in the first session followed me into the second session and their buzz kept me busy for the rest of the conference. I showed off ActiveRain and my other websites all day. It was great. I love being the Jr Ambassador from NY. Mad fun people (LOL). I am about to have even more fun later today. I am on the hunt for some NC eye candy with Connie, Ann and Carol (LOL). We're going to Carol's house (LOL). ;-)
Carol, life is short. Mad fun is a personal daily mission I take very seriously (ROTFLMAO). ;-)
SarahGray Lam, I absolutely love you and will be invading Chapill Hill to come visit. You can bet on that and take that bet to the bank, sweetie pie. :-)
C - way too much fun yesterday! Now when do we get started today????
Connie. Give me a couple of minutes to call you. We're going for eye candy, food candy, anything you want to YouTube candy (LMAO) ;-)
Hey Crazy Girl! I had a great time in your class and thought you were busy doing other things in mine--I had NO idea you were snapping photos from my best side!! LOL I wish we had had more time together--if Margearet had only let you go sooner, you could have joined us for Beer for Bloggers and dinner! But, I can't complain--I GOT A ROME BOOK!! WOOHOO!
See you next time and thanks again for the great class!
I spotted Jeremy and Lori hanging out in the back during this session. :) The lady who asked the question apparently showed up just to meet "THE" Google Whore.
Love it. Looks like a great turn out and souds like a lot of fun.
Let me know when you come to San Antono, TX and I'm there! That looks like lots of fun!
Sorry I didn't have much time with you... ;-( However, at least we were able to meet IRL, and I look very forward to the next time! XXOO
C,
Confessions, adventures.. of a google fiend.....keeping us in the loop is exciting and fun to watch as those numbers on activerain continue to grow and Realtors from all over the country are finding out what the rain can do for them!
Attended your first session and loved it! Unfortunately, you have all turned me in to an all-around Social Media Whore. Thansk a lot! ;)
It always looks and sounds very informative. Im hoping that it makes its way to Texas again soon. Missed the last one, but heard a lot about it.
Hey ! I must have left 5 minutes before you posted the response! Dang, cut it too close. Hope you had fun with Carol. I've already talked with Ann. We'll look on a map and find a central place to meet to play!!
Connie, that would be mad fun. I just set up the official website for my Wordy C G-Ho collection (LMAO). Now that I am THE G-Ho, I gotta populate that puppy with SEO tips between my regularly scheduled blogging nonsense (LMAO). Will eventually be parking all of the "How To Monetize Your Blog" stuff on that site, among other things. ;-)
John, Melodious and I are cooking up some fun in TX. Will be doing KY first with Lizette and Erik, then continue to TX from there. Shall keep you guys posted. :-)
Dawn, I LOVE IT! We shall have to hang again very soon. Sorry I could not spend more time on the subject with you guys at REBarCamp RDU. May be doing another class at another Camp because I am getting a lot of requests and really appreciate the kind words. We're negotiating our schedules regarding Triple Play right now. When I finish setting up the G-Ho collection on my new outside blog, I shall hold virtual classes for you guys and create some fun but useful PDFs to help get you guys off and running making some money. :-)
Robert, we are trying to coordinate with ERCG and do Vegas (LOL). Hoping you will host us for one of the dinners (LOL). The AZ crew and I are plotting and planning and I will pull you into the loop when we get closer to Feb 2010. :-)
Susie, will be passing through again and I am looking forward to spending more time with you. There were so many people there it was hard for me to keep up.
Carra, the Rain can do a lot if people learn to cross link it into what they are already doing. :-)
Debe, will be down to visit on another matter and will give you a call before I leave on my next business trip. :-)
LOL @ Jason. Seems I've been getting a lot of that lately (ROTFLMAO). Now that I went from being "a" Google Whore to being "THE" Google Whore, a whole new Wordy C cottage industry has sprung up (LOL). I've been getting a lot of calls to do stuff and have to now figure out which venue my next presentation will be at. :-)
Tammy, the fun is expanding to a whole other set of opportunities to teach class (LOL). This could get very interesting... ;-)
Brenda, I will certainly keep you and the rest of the crew in the loop when I head towards TX. :-)
