Notebook Cooler Instructions... Hmm... Wordy C May Have To Alter These (LOL)

Carolyn Tann Starr 2009

Number 1: Placement of Cooler...

Place the Antec Notebook Cooler on a firm, stable surface when in use... Hmm... I am neither firm or stable... (LMAO). That's why I go to the gym. Working on the firm part. We shall spoof about my lack of stability later because I have a laptop cooler to assemble little tiny rubber feet on and install (LOL).

Are we having another outside office adventure in blogging? Yup. I've been running the streets since 9AM collecting eye candy for my black and white post to show Julie C. We shall be blogging on the fly for the rest of the day. Gotta get my jog on and post a bunch of turtleruns for Localism. :-)

Number 2: Placement of Notebook Computer...

Hmm... Now you and I both know this thing is going to wind up in my lap, right? (LOL). I shall skip this paragraph completely...

Number 3: Dual Fan Speed Control Switch...

Ooooooo... nice subtle lap breeze. Should have worn my shorts for this one (ROTFLMAO). ;-)

Wordy C product review: Antec gets a double minion thumbs up. I like it!

Thank you Alan May. You are a brilliant Rainer!

Next: Lunch at Kyoto and blogging live (LOL).  ;-)

I need to get a notebook cooler, I realized that the other day when my laptop just shut down on me, LOL. I was on the couch, with a blanket over my legs, so the fan was probably deprived of oxygen. Better the fan than my brain though... although sometimes I think my laptop holds my brain.

My laptop holds so much of my life on it they may be able to reconstruct me (LOL). :-)

I think these days everyone has so much of their info on laptops and computers that we would lose a ton from a crash.

JL, computer crashes make me cringe. My tower crashed last night. I haven't turned it back on yet. I know I need to. I'm thinking I may need to collect a bunch of flash drives and start labeling things... I may need to type mini directories and place each flash drive in a sandwich bag (LOL).

Never let it be said that I would disagree with a good-lookin'-woman and her laptop!  :-)

ROTFL @ Alan. Got rid of the pillow and got a cooler. Awesome idea. Much more effective. Thank you, sweetie.

Tanya, the subsequent withdrawal would require extensive medication and therapy (LOL).

Lisa, have I got some fun info to share with you about that (LMAO).

Carra, multi-task blogging? Hmm... What does that mean??? (LOL)

I drop on all my leather inlaid desk a portable vent (they sell some really attractrive ones that don't hold cold drinks) and find them pushed to one side and a hot laptop sitting on my leather inlaid desks in my offices......I will send this to my staff......

Haaaaaaa! Julie, I am very glad you found this useful. They have to learn that protecting the equipment is the number one priority because it's how we get our job done. I have so many graphics programs running while I create motion visuals it's not even funny. I have two great digital movie programs that I drag and drop files between because they each have their own set of motion scripts and special effects that I can not imagine doing without (LOL). Then the sound programs get popped up because I have to erase or mute what I don't want people to hear and replace it with what I do want them to listen to. Then I have to pop up Photoshop to create the graphic panels, turn them into pictures and drag and drop them into the movies as solids of transparent overlays. My laptop and towers get smoking sometimes because graphic programs suck up the chip sets and memory like you wouldn't believe. You have to cool the machines down or they will cut off on you to save themselves. You will lose work. Been there, done that... :-)

I can't wait to visit your offices (LOL). I already considered myself adopted. Will let you know when I get the GA License. ;-)
