So I am riding up Union Turnpike with my gal pal Susana and we're wondering what to eat for lunch when she reminds me I have never sampled the fare at her fave Thai restaurant. Off we go to Kyoto, after all, we are on Union Turnpike near Parsons so why not (see KyotoSushiNYC.com for more info - LOL).
OMG - I am eating real curry. I'm talking blow your nose off your face hot and spicy. Is this the part of the show where the black chick turns purple? Seriously hot people. I am in tears in a good way but if they don't bring me something else to drink soon I may die from an exploding imagination. We all know how I can get when I get started so... (LOL).
Green tea is very good too. May need more. I am very happy to report that I can't feel my tongue but I can taste the flavor exploding in my mouth. I love good food. I may have to work my way through this menu while we are enjoying a working lunch. Food is really, really good.
Now if only I can figure out what it is that we ordered... I really do have no idea what we're eating. Sana picked it out. You'll have to go ask her (and yes, I will forward your e-mail, so there - LMAO).
Welcome to today's outside office (LOL). Will be here for a while. We're actually working... :-)

LOL! Love it! And I love Thai food. My favorite place is closed til September 4 for vacation, can't wait for them to get back! Hope they brought you some more tea or water or something meanwhile!
Interesting ... but you can keep that sushi stuff. The Miso soup ... OK. Some other COOKED things, fine. NO sushi. LOL
We are still here working (LOL). Sana is doing her paperwork and I am making RE appointments. :-)
Silvia, Thai food is amazing. I am looking forward to hearing more about your fave place. :-)
Carol, I love sushi but we didn't do meat today. Just veggies and brown rice in two types of curry sauce. Veggie rolls are cool. Mmmmmmmmmmm (LOL). :-)
Hi Carolyn... I guess if it's Japanese & Thai, that would be the epitome of Asian fusion! Whatever... it looks delicious! :)
Steve, it was delicious and if there weren't so many people inside I would have shot the interior. Didn't want to intrude on all the dating that appeared to be going on, not to mention the business drinking in the middle of the afternoon (LOL). The guy next to me was very interesting (LMAO). They have really nice features. I will have to shoot the inside and outside one of these days... :-)
Oh I can't do hot! Don't enjoy tears streaming from my face while eating unless I am laughing so hard that I'm crying LOL
Barb, I am very happy to report they have mild, subtle dishes. Next time we go I shall have Susana pick me out something interesting to blog about. Chicka has great taste. I love exploring food with her. She is my cultural guide and tutor for all things Russian in Queens County. ;-)
Psssst... we do a lot of things that have nothing to do with Russia together. Chicka has a double Masters. I like hanging out with people smarter than I am and she's very, very smart and funny (LOL). Just sayin... :-D
Looks like really good food. Have you noticed that there are a lot of traditional British pubs in London that are serving Thai food? That tells you how good it is.
Brian, I didn't know that. How very cool! The food here really is very good. I'm glad we shared the experience and I am looking forward to going back for more. :-)
OMG!!! That looks soooo good. I love Thai food, especially really good Thai food, not the cheap and cheesy fast food Thai (yes, they exist around here).
Donne, the next time I go back I am going to try and go early so I can shoot photographs of the inside. It's a lovely place. I am going to love using it as an outside office. :-)
