Dang... Gotta Buy A Bathing Suit 'Cause I Threw Out The String Bikini (LOL)

Carolyn Tann-Starr 2009

Dang... Gotta Buy A Bathing Suit 'Cause I Threw Out The String Bikini (LOL). We shall not mention that unmentionable string hubby brought me to wear (LMAO). I will confess to spending my mornings in the sand in a tee and sweats. Yes, it's true, I also brought my electronics. I hardly ever go anywhere without my laptop. I guess it's because I've been suffering from withdrawal since the death of my Sony. It was a 2002 and I still have my oldie but goodie. I want to get it fixed. Seriously. That is a beautiful machine and it still runs Windows XP. I like Windows XP. The Toshiba Satellite we got to replace Noah's IBM Thinkpad is lovely, but it runs Windows Vista. Can you say learning curve? (LOL)

It appears hubby believes you guys would be thrilled to see my floatation devices (ROTFL). I don't know how I feel about that... Ambivalent? Yeah... That sounds about right... That's why I make it my business to keep the Nikon away from him. Who knows what that man will find fit to post in Facebook (LOL).

See, these are the types of conversations we have in our house. This is what happens when crazies marry crazies and start a blog. We are about to take transparency to a whole new level while going hyper-local. I am having mad fun keeping you guessing what the heck I am going to post next. The OBMR presentation is coming out lovely. I'm arranging new music for it. :-)

BTW, Stephen tasted the sea water (eeeeeeewwww!!!) Wait until you see the look on his face (ROTFL) Dude started for the blankets with his eyes closed, that's how disgusting it was to him. I can't remember the last time I laughed so hard at my poor little wee one. Yeah, I know - bad mommy! (LOL) :-D

C, this blog was worth reading just to see Stephen.

Posted by Gary Woltal, Assoc. Broker Realtor SFR Dallas Ft. Worth (Keller Williams Realty) about 11 years ago

Gary, Stephen is such a trip. I laugh everyday with this kid. (LOL)

I love seeing feet in the sand. Glad you are enjoying yourself. I love the beach, any beach. Even in long pants! !! :D

Kristin, I always wanted to do a Melodious (LOL). ;-)

Oh C, girl this is so funny!!!  Hope you had a good time.

Judi, entertaining the kids in the morning is a hoot. Took Stephen on a community walk in Forest Hills today. That was very interesting. He actually wanted to visit the Post Office and wouldn't leave (LOL). I was like WTF? It's mail behind little glass doors dude, the view is not going to change like television. We are not renting a box. Stop trying to open them. Get out!!! (LOL) ;-)

Posted by C Tann-Starr (Tann Starr & Associates, Inc.) about 11 years ago
Well, this should get interesting! I love the Melodious pose too! I have seen it a few times since!
Posted by Cristal Drake, Realtor - Fullerton Real Estate (Prudential California Realty) about 11 years ago

Is that an East Coast beach - I am way too much of a wimp for that water - brrrr. I think he was about to baptize the camera with sand at the end there - too funny

Posted by Malita Jones, Austin Texas Home Sales (Sky Realty, Inc.- 512HomeStore.com) about 11 years ago

He looks absolutely miserable after his taste of the water. But it looks like you are all having a great time!

Posted by Barb Szabo, CRS, E-pro Realtor, Cleveland Ohio Homes (RE/MAX Trinity Brecksville Ohio) about 11 years ago

Cristal, Melodiousis brilliant (LOL). ;-)

Malita, the ocean is a trip and very coooooold. However, since it has been so hot up here the water has been quite nice, if a little rough. The kids love it! Did I mention they were crazy? BTW, he promptly blinded me and my girlfriend (LMAO). Friggin' kid is always throwing something (LOL). My cell phone almost make the ocean but Noah saved me. ;-)

Barb, for a moment I thought something was seriously wrong with him until he spit a mouthful of it out while shaking his head no (LOL). Poor thing... ;-)

Of course we would love to see your flotation devices. YOUR hubby sounds a lot like MY hubby!  The post office story is too cute. Enjoy! Keep the photos coming!

Posted by Lori Cain, Midtown Tulsa Real Estate Top Producer (eXp Realty) about 11 years ago

Ummm - no offense ... but I don't care to see your flotation devices.  LOL  It seems as though ALL hubbies are alike!  As for those unmentionable string thingies ..... haven't done that in 40 years!  And won't be doing it ever again!  Sometimes a little discretion is just what is needed for the safety of the viewing public.  ;)

Your wee people are just adorable.  I love the expressions both of them get.  Stephen seems to be more expressive tho.

Posted by Carol Smith (Casmi Photography) about 11 years ago

I am jealous! I thought about buying a bathing suit on sale last week and realized that I hadn't been to the pool, much less the beach, all year! Did the salt water upset his tummy afterwards? Have a blast at the beach

Posted by Lise Howe, Assoc. Broker in DC, MD, VA and attorney in DC (Keller Williams Capital Properties) about 11 years ago

Lori, I bet they would have a field day. :-)

Thank you, Carol. The wee ones are adorable. :-)

Lise, the green poo was fascinating after I got over the terror of seeing it in his pull ups (LOL).

Posted by C Tann-Starr (Tann Starr & Associates, Inc.) about 11 years ago

Hey C sounds like you're having a fun time at the beach. String Bikini?  OMG I haven't had one of those for at least 10 years - maybe someday again, yeah right.

Post office? - it's amzing what kids find interesting. The little guy sounds like a hoot!  Love the pic too.

Please do have some wicked fun for me - ok?

Love it!  Your son is adorable.  Great to see you had the camera available for such a funny moment.

Posted by Lina Robertson, REALTOR® Serving Springfield, Nixa and Ozark, MO (RE/MAX Solutions and RE/MAX House of Brokers) about 11 years ago

You are so funny. My daughter's ipod & cell were victims of our end of summer beach trip. Glad you guys were more careful.

Posted by Amy Jones, (licensed in LA) (Amy Jones Photo) about 11 years ago

Anna, I have been having mad fun with the wee people bouncing between projects and our outside office wifi spots. I have got to catch up with my blog. Seems like I live in the streets now (LOL). I may have to tether myself to my desk long enough to post something interesting. :-)

Lina, my poor Nikon has sand in it (LOL). I can't get the shutter to close. May have to buy a new one that is water resistant. It would probably help if Stephen would stop throwing water and sand on us (LOL).

Amy, I wish we were more careful. I really, really do. You should see what the kids are doing to my camera and video camera. At least we are having mad fun (LOL).

Posted by C Tann-Starr (Tann Starr & Associates, Inc.) about 11 years ago

C: You ave go to try out boogie boarding with the kids ~ it is a blast! You and the wee ones will love it!

Posted by Sandy Childs, Realtor - Spartanburg, SC (Keller Williams Realty) about 11 years ago

Sandy, I can't swim (ROTFLMAO). Boogie board, eh? That does sound like mad fun (LOL). ;-)

Posted by C Tann-Starr (Tann Starr & Associates, Inc.) about 11 years ago

i don't mean for drinking, just tasting.

Posted by Jay Beckingham, Seniors ROCK! (Christensen Financial Mortgage) about 11 years ago

Posted by C Tann-Starr (Tann Starr & Associates, Inc.) about 11 years ago

A day at the beach is ANYTHING but typical with you C!!

Posted by Carla Muss-Jacobs, RETIRED (RETIRED / State License is Inactive) about 11 years ago

Carla, it's mad fun because I don't swim so I have to entertain myself other ways. I have lots of food and really fun blanket par-tays (LMAO). ;-)
