Life With Wee People: Little Big Heads

Life With Wee People: Little Big Heads (Stephen and Noah Starr)

The little minions are out of Summer School and on their three week vacation. Hmm... Gotta get the Outside Blog Minion Report revved up and my shorties out the door. My little big heads are gonna need stuff to do every single morning. Noah loves taking his computer on road trips and Stephen usually gets into Jimmy Neutron and Blues Clues with his big brother.

Dad is going to have his hands full. Mama has to go to work in the afternoon and evenings (LOL). The cool thing about being a wifi hotspot junkie is my office is anywhere the laptop, cell phone and folding camp chair goes. The wee ones make blogging fun and Stephen the Minion Blur especially likes when Mama is in her outside office (e.g. the park).

He usually decorates the laptop with pebbles. I have to be careful though. Sometime the little nuggets he leaves behind are not what they seem (ROTFL).

Kids... ya gotta love 'em. Who else could grin so lovingly while presenting you with the gift of sh*t? Seriously... Life with wee people can really be a trip (LMAO). ;-)

P.S. Techie update: The clip is a Facebook upload so you have to log in there if you want to see the clip run here. I have no idea why that happens. Hmm... Shall have to YouTube the next one. :-)

Ah, but what a rewarding trip it is. My husband and I raised 7 of our own and the good Lord has given us 8 grandchildren so far. The trip just never seems to end. Enjoy them, they'll be grown in no time.

How so cute! Having raised two boys I know the joys and the fun you are having! Cherish it - someday they will be 26 and 28 :)

Great pictures of your kids.  Noah looks like a smarty-pants on that laptop.  Your video doesn't work you might want to check the coding.  Great post.

The little ones are something aren't they? I posted tonight on the results of the 5 year old giving the 1 year old a haircut! Arghh!

What a great family you have! As the other comments, they do grow up so quickly! Our oldest just turned 40 and the "baby" is 32!

Wow that is so nice! I love Jimmy Neutron! LOL  Your boys are adorable!  I am still waiting for the lil one to get shipped by UPS LOL  This is what I mean by being a positive mommy.  You don't have to neglect your kids to work hard.  Of course, you got the hubby to support you, which is ICING!  but either way, you can have the "outside office" anytime.  Wi Fi is really a blessing for busy moms, but only to those who use it effectively.

Thank you for sharing these jewels with us. You should re-blog this on Positive Mommies, my darling.

As always, sending you a big hug.  (I think I may go to NY next month- we'll have to say hello).

C, I love your photos!  Your little big heads look so smart!  Must be the post with the laptop - which is almost as big as Noah is!

Carolyn, My baby (15 years old) starts school on Thursday! I hardly got to see her at all this summer because work kept me busy, but I am lucky she is so understanding. Enjoy the rest of the summer!

Carolyn, very nice pictures, I am jealous as my princess is 34 now and I loved those small years. But, she is giving me a grandchild in a few weeks and I will re-live all the glory, I am sure!

C - I love it. I am much the same way. My laptop is a fixture on the coffee table with my Blackberry not far behind when I'm home, and it goes with me everywhere I go. Since school starts in a week here, I just bought my older son two novels to read this week. I want to get those academic juices primed so he hits the ground running!

My office tends to move all across the city as well, but I have no little ones to hang out with me. I'm sure yours are a blast.

Suesan, seven of 'em, eh? What I would give to have that many little minions (LOL). God blessed you, indeed my friend. :-)

Jo, the idea of having big minions tickles me pink. :-)

Carol, Facebook is hinky today. I loaded one video and it posted twice with different thumbnails (LMAO). Who knew it could do that? Learned something new today. :-)

Christine, I can't wait to go over there and read all about it. Haircut eh? Uh-oh (LOL). ;-)

Thank you, Dick and Dixie. :-)

Paddy, this is sooo true. I have to blog about what the wee people do. We're taking them somewhere every day. :-)

Elayna, I shall have to create a post for that group. :-)

Patricia, I always crack up when I see Noah carry it around to find a comfortable spot. He really loves computers and YouTube is his best friend. He can surf there for hours. He prefers it over television. Go figure... (LOL)

Sheldon, Noah seems to be, however, Stephen still engages in the ritual sacrifice of our electronics (ROTFL). I am going to make him get a real job soon (LOL). ;-)

Barb, I can't wait to meet you and your baby. I have three weeks to fill... We're plotting all sorts of road trips (LOL). KY is only 12 hours... Ohio even closer... :-)

Thank you, David. I am looking forward to reading an update about your grandchild. I love babies! :-)

Liz, I am drumming the college mantra into their heads. However, I think they think it is another form of toothpaste (LMAO). I have soooo gotta work on my interpersonal communication skills with my kids. I keep forgetting they are learning disabled and view me as a talking head who feeds them (LMAO). It appears I have been relegated to the status of fave toy that cuddles. Oh well... ;-)

Christianne, I have been eying those Blackberry jammies but must pass due to Stephen's predilection for drowning all thinks electronic in the toilet (LOL). Isn't it neat to be able to take your office with you everywhere you go? I am spoiled for all other types of jobs now. I like being an independent...

JL, I love my kids. They are indeed a blast. Funny as hell may be an understatement (LOL). ;-)
