Three Things You May Eventually Need To Know...

The Anticybersquatting Consumer Protection Act (ACPA)

The US Federal Trademark Dilution Act

The Uniform Domain Dispute Resolution Policy (UDRP)

With all of the cyber-squatting and Twitter purchase name bickering going on, I figured I would share three interesting points of order. Rather than give you my take on the subject with a bit of sum and substance writing, I'm sending you straight to the sources that I think say what needs to be said very well. Of course, feel free to Google your own versions, but at least you now know what to Google. Yo - just sayin... (LOL) ;-)

C - all great information, I have read all three of your references, but will really need to read them again to capture the nuances.
