They only look innocent. Don't be fooled...
As I sit here with my sketchbook working on a new series of panels for Life With Wee People, I find myself wondering just how much artistic mayhem and running amuck I'm capable of. After all, my kids are very self directed. They create a lot of material for me to work with on a daily basis. Flashlight dancing, floating items in toilets, having an electronic love affair with my toaster. It never ends... I wonder if my pen can keep up (hehehe). We shall see... I always did love a good challenge. ;-)

C, that loving family around you should provide you material for YEARS. I may have to come to you on a dry day since you are overflowing with great stuff. Your pen or keyboard must be getting hot from all the activity.
C - I'm caught somewhere between LMAO and admiring your work. I noticed a lack of neosporin. Do you just sterilize with Absolut and then apply the bandage? I hadn't thought of it before, but a little absorption into the bloodstream sould help dull their senses pain.
Gary, I would love to get together with you. We would have a blast brainstorming ideas. :-)
ROTFL @ Erik. My kids go through it like it's a playground blood sport (LOL). I have to restock. ;-)
I think I just admire you :) Moreso, I admire the kids for putting up with mom snapping them, video taping them....although I just bet they love to see themselves in action lol!
C - Love it! Have they learned the fine art of cooking ants on the sidewalk with a magnifying glass yet? Laraine
Those pictures are priceless. Stephen looks more curious than sad to see his toy circling the drain. Were there any tears after that or was it just another day in the life of Stephen?
I like the medicinal beverages but I know you don't drink them. I guess what I don't know is WHY?? LOL!
I didn't know Noah lost a front tooth! Was the toy that circled the drain a cell phone?
Morning sis. I love the pictures of my kids without front teeth. They are some of my favorties so keep a lot of them for future enjoyment. As for the current works in progress. Keeping up with those two is a full time job without writing about it so do your best and we will follow along. Have a good one.
I don't buy it. They look like perfect angels to me. Stop picking on them!
C - Having raised 4, and having the boys destroying most of their things, I have empathy. You will continually be stunned by science projects. These will become the fastet years. Blink and they are taller than you. Fortunately it seems as your kit is complete. Smiles from the other side - C
I am loving that picture, I know just how you feel!!
Thank you, C-Sally C. My kids are YouTube crazy. They love watching themselves on-line, living in my computer, at home on tape and DVD (LOL). They giggle just as much when they watched themselves perched on the furniture. They are soooo easily amused. Life is great when you can get silly with your kids.
LOL @ Laraine. I have managed to avoid that particular past time so far, but I must admit they have done other peculiar things. ;-)
Barb, mayhem and destruction born from curiosity is childs-play to a two year old (LOL).
ROTFL @ Susan. I shall have to do a sleep over to explain the WHY (LMAO). It may take a while. ;-) BTW, yes, another cell phone drowned a glorious death but at least I still have my calculator! (LOL)
Morning Paddy my lovely. Your minion nephews are growing quite nicely. We have to come for another play date. Spring has sprung the the wee people are young. Their energy is very energizing and you, my lovely, have a huge yard (LOL). Part two of them rolling in the grass should be very interesting. Hopefully we can keep the Blur Minion from belly flopping in your frog pond. ;-)
Melodious, my love, I shall stop picking on them when they stop picking on me (LOL). Did that sound like a "never" to you? ;-)
Claude, isn't it interesting how they do that without even trying. Boys are definitely wired differently than girls. :-) I am looking forward to the lack of destruction (LOL). Even Noah sends Stephen to his room. :-)
Jeannette, the fun will be in trying to catch the candid shots without them pausing to say "cheese" (LOL).
Ha ha.....too funny, but I can see their little halos!
Just joined the AR Cartoon Network.....
Carolyn,
Innocent ??? They look like three peas in a pod to me...!!! :) Thanks, Fran
Yay! Ann is in the house! We're going to have mad fun in both virtual houses (LOL).
Fran, if only the hubby would let me film them cooking together... Peas in a pod indeed. ;-)
Your sons are so cute! I can only imagine all the stuff they get into. Keep us updated!
Stacey, my love, they keep me spinning in circles (LOL). I've been up since 5AM because the Blur Minion decided it was a great time to laugh about nothing... He's still giggling... Heaven knows what the cartoons in his head are doing (LOL).
CT: start them on yoga! Yes, get a tape and start diong it together! I'm volunteering at Genesis Health Care on Thursday for bring your kids to work day and we are teaching the wee ones yoga.
PS: It's much healthier than all the other RXs in your kit
What Darling Angels you have...the innocence of a child is absolutely amazing, I watch my two not so little ones still in awh! Thanks for sharing and I truly look forward to more of your posts!
Cheron Lange
LOL @ Janice. Mike used to do Yoga. The little ones started jumping on his back for a free ride. They thought him being on the floor was an invitation to play (LOL).
Thank you, Cheron. Kids are amazing, indeed. :-)
C,
Good to see you sporting the Minions and hubby......made my morning.
Just to make you feel better, my 2 year old newphew has thrown 2 Blackberries down the tiolet this month and torn up the navigation system in my brother's Hummer......we call him The Terminator......
Oh my word... we have soooooo gotta have a play-date and film the wee ones running amuck (LOL). Julie, my love, I feel for you. I really do. Toilet floating is an Olympic sport in my home. I'm almost afraid to see what the threes bring (LOL).
Oh I just cannot stop laughing. I have been so busy that I almost missed this one! You ROCK and have a great weeK!
I would fill them up with icecream and cake. Totally spoil them rotten and send them home.
Thank you, Russell. Glad you enjoyed it.
Aunt Melodious would be the one to fill 'em up with sugar and send them home hyperactive (LMAO). Just remember that I know where you live... (hehehe) Don't make me send 'em back for a sleep over. (LOL) ;-)
Now I see what you've been telling me all this time! They are absolutely adorable but the stories you've told make me really leery of going just off of looks! Cutie patooties! They make me want to just take some bites out of those cheeks!
~Renae
LOL @ Renae. :-D
C, I don't see any chocolate on the first picture...:) That's a must for every woman. Your angels are adorable.
Haaaaaa! I cropped the kisses out. :-) Joanna, my shorties are sweet (but crazy). Can't wait for them to get older. Stephen is a hoot. He's three now and making some serious decisions. He argues with his brother in his own coded, speech delayed way (LMAO). I have got to tape him and Noah having a "conversation." (ROTFLMAO)
