We Went On A Night Run To Show My UK Peeps the Unisphere Lights

I was playing with my Sorority peeps on Facebook and we started trading vacation pictures. Living in NYC means I get to vacation all the time in my own backyard . I also like to run amuck in neighboring states so one just never knows what one may get until I decide to post it. I am invading CT next :-). Donna B will be the first to know when I'm coming to collect some eye candy. I promised I wouldn't pass through a state without giving a few people a heads up and possibly high-jacking a victim an Active Rain Club Chaos guide to get opinions for where I should be exploring eye candy for my virtual tours. I'm looking forward to it. Already picked the hotel, I just need a date... ;-)

Seems a few of my new gal pals in the UK wanted to see some hyper-local sights. I sent them a few pictures. They were kind enough to return the favor and send me some back. Oh my word... be careful what you ask for when you start trading virtual spaces (LOL). FB peeps sometimes go to some of the most off-the-beaten-path kind of places. I may have to return the favor and show off a few gems. They also wear some interesting things while on vacation. Notice the phrase "things" instead of "clothing." Yup. I'm sitting here with a smile. One lovely wore paint and may I say it was very tastefully done. (Don't ask. You can not see my e-mail pictures - LOL) Gives a whole new meaning to body art... I like models. They are quite daring individuals.

Some of my new pen pals are very artistic. That will be another blog post in and of itself. I happen to love painting and may be trading a few images with the girls. I have created some very interesting works they may enjoy and I certainly know I enjoyed their sculptures, sketches, inks and oils. I have canvass in my closet that has yet to be seen on a gallery wall (LOL). I'm working on some new stuff for my next show. Looking forward to a lovely vacation. :-)

If you are not carefully picking and choosing your friends you may be missing out on some stellar relationships. Yes indeedy, some of those shots were veeerrrry interesting... I have soooooo got to cross the Big Pond and play in England. I like English Galleries. I may be working on a group show because I like my new  Euro-artist gal pals. BTW, they do not think like we do in the States. Very interesting. I may need more than a week there to figure 'em out. Yes, I am planning my vacation (LOL).

Did I mention they were VERY interesting peeps? Seriously... I think I did... Stunningly so. I may actually be begging two of them to let me paint them for my next gallery show we are currently planning in New York. I've high-jacked several friends for that bit of canvass eye candy. Still collecting models so we wont know what the theme is until my faces are all in order. My brick and mortar friends are adorable and work for food. Some of my new FB friends are cool too. The camera loves some of them. Their friends and family love them. I like what I am learning about them. I could grow to love them too. We shall see. This may take a while. I never rush business or personal relationships of any kind. I will admit that the Skype par-tays are lovely! Love, love, love the accents. :-)

Here is a sneak peek of the night run around Flushing Meadows:

Will be posting details to the next Gigglefest as well. Third Sundays of the month is our Club Chaos day to go live, share food and play in the brick and mortar portion of the Rain. I'm thinking I may want to go back to NJ. I have to call Josef and Sheldon. :-)

I hope you are enjoying your day as much as I am enjoying mine... ;-)

... ah, that's from the World's Fair... 1964-ish, if memory serves me well.   I was there!

So fun to hear about your virtual travels Carolyn.  I love accents, hearing them and speaking with them. :)  Growing up in an international community has some advantages. :)

Thank you, Big Mike. I'm very excited about working that trip into my gallery schedule. A UK tour would be nice. I have to see what my reps in Soho want me to do once I create the works. :-)

Greg, I shall be bunking with Melodious and her family unless Cindy shares the time share and comes on a TX eye candy run with me  (LOL). I hope to hit Houston. I've never been. I'm determined to see as much as I can see because Mikey retired and we can do just about anything that fits the little minion's school schedules. It's nice to have a hubby that doesn't mind minion sitting (LOL).

Alan, what a treat. You must talk more about it. :-)

Thank you, Lola. I'm enjoying social media life and sharing neat moments. My life has been absolutely amazing since I joined AR. I love this place. It gave me bay-bays (LOL). :-)

Nice! I get such a kick out if that entire recreational area. I wish I could have been there, Alan. :-)
