Life With Wee People: Mr. Fix It

Life With Wee People: Mr. Fix It

I'm still hanging out in Starbucks answering my e-mail and fuming over the fact that Twitter has been over capacity the entire time I've been here. Somehow flipping music from Jango is making it through but not much else (there's irony in that - LOL).

Stephen, the Minion Blur has been having a lot of fun making plans about buying giant cars in Walmart. I've started packing up some of their NY toys to bring down to the FL house. You would think a kid with hundreds of hot wheel cars couldn't possibly want more but it appears I've miscalculated shorty's capacity for collectibles (LOL).

I have a task for the wee people, especially Stephen. If he wants me to take him car shopping he's going to have to become Mr. Fix It and help Mama paint the entrance because the winter rains have started peeling the paint.

Any suggestions for a decent brand? Feel free to embed the links because this is the first walkway entrance paint job I'm doing with kids in tow as little helpers. I've been in Google looking for instructions and found a few really cool websites about staining concrete. Here's my hands down favorite:

http://www.concretenetwork.com/

It has free e-books too:

http://www.concretenetwork.com/catalogs/

Painting is on the agenda with the wee people but at some point hubby and I may consider having an overlay done. It's amazing what they can do with an acid stain. You should check those free PDFs out and explore the site. I'm talking beautiful concrete eye candy people. Seriously...

If we do get a contractor then Mr.Fix It is gonna have to earn his giant cars some other way... like planting sod and cutting the grass (LOL). ;-)
